Basic Ceramics

Learn the fundamentals of the ancient (but very modern) art of ceramic sculpting. In this very hands-on class, beginning students will learn hand-building methods (coil, pinch & slab) of constructing ceramic sculpture with an emphasis on techniques and visual quality, while sculpting the subject matter of their choice. Clay and all tools are provided. Firing is available for a small fee. Tuition: $75
