Copper Repoussé Workshop
Expand your sculptural vocabulary! Come learn and enjoy this ancient technique of making metal sculpture by pressing copper into the form you create. Repoussé is the method of creating sculpture in which the design is raised in relief from the back. With historical examples from Mycenae to the Statue of Liberty, there are few techniques that offer such diversity of expression while still being relatively economical. No experience is necessary and all instruction, basic tools and the materials are provided in this 4-week workshop. Tuition: $325
