Found Object Sculpture:

Aluminum Assemblage

 

Create unique one-of-a-kind sculptures using found objects and recycled aluminum. Learn the techniques of assembling metal objects with cold connections:  using pop-rivets and different types of fasteners. Students will gain experience with a wide variety of hand and power tools.  Realize your inner-artist while revitalizing discarded things! Class includes all tools, supplies, and hand-outs. Students will procure materials while on a field trip to our favorite local recycling center.
